The
Role of a Document Preparer
Our
staff will work hard to make sure your documents are prepared properly
and will be filed in a timely manner with the court. We will insure
that your request will be made known and your documents will look
professional. You will have the opportunity to review all of your
documents prior to them being filed with the court.
A
document preparer cannot give you legal advice and can only prepare
your documents as directed by you and the attorney. However, you will
have the opportunity to meet with the attorney if you choose to do
so.
The
Role of the Attorney
Our
office is owned and operated by Attorney Scott Mitchell and he is
available to meet with you and discuss you case. There is a reasonable
fee charged for meeting with the attorney. The attorney can also prepare
and outline for you to use when going to court, or the attorney can
go to court with you if you so choose.
It
is the opinion of our office that it is almost always better to have
an attorney go with you to your court hearing. However, if you simply
cannot afford to pay for in-court representation, then the next best
thing is to have the attorney give you guidance and help you prepare
an outline to use while at court on your own.
The
attorney is the only person who can give you legal advice. A paralegal
service on it's own cannot.
An
attorney's job is to assist clients with the understanding of the
law and the court process. The attorney is also to assertively and
passionately represent the position of the client. In our office we
are there to make sure are clients get the best possible legal assistance.
We do care about every case and we strive to be the best legal document
service in the Valley, and to be the best attorney's office in the
Valley.
The
court needs our assistance as well. Too many times clients and the
court are left on their own to deal with inadequate and incomplete
work performed by other legal document businesses. It is our mission
to be better than all of them!
